In their final concert of the season, Frost Wind Ensemble features two soloists. Soprano Lindsay Kesselman performs Schneider’s Winter Morning Walks, arranged for wind ensemble by Andrew Keiser. Pianist Shelly Berg plays his jazz setting of Lennon and McCartney’s Blackbird and Gershwin’s Prelude No. 2 in C# minor.

Pianist Shelly Berg performs Gershwin’s Concerto in F with the Frost Symphony Orchestra, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Gershwin’s iconic work. Gerard Schwarz conductor. The evening also features a commissioned new work by Paul Moravec, as well as Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande Suite, and Maurice Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole.
